I was craving apple ‘something’ the other day so I decided to try this out…an apple cinnamon chaffle. It definitely satisfied that craving, and with only a 1/4 of an apple, it’s still low carb!
A chaffle is a simple recipe of 1/2 cup cheese (I like mozzarella), 1 tbsp almond flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1 egg…with whatever additions you want. Sounds crazy but it’s delicious!
Make a bunch ahead of time and freeze so that you have some for a quick breakfast or snack. However, it only takes a few minutes from start to finish so as long as you have the ingredients on hand you could easily whip up a chaffle in the morning.

So simple and so delicious. Similar to an apple fritter but much healthier!

It is very tasty, I really liked the aroma and the taste. Only, unfortunately it got stuck in the waffle maker. I should probably did not put enough oil on the surface.
I have 2 waffle irons… It sticks in one and not the other 🤣
